It's that time a year again. The leaves are starting to turn, temperatures are dropping, and ghosts and gobblins are right around the corner! If you have little ones I highly suggest a trip to Terrebone to one of the two pumpkin patches, Central Oregon Pumpkin Company or The D & D ranch. This past Saturday we chose to take are kids to the Central Oregon Pumkin Co at Smith Rock Ranch. Both are about a 30 minute drive from Bend.
Pumpkin Patch Things To Do
You'll find plenty to do for kids and adults at the pumpkin patch (mainly for the little ones though). This year's pumpkin patch includes a petting zoo, archery, train ride, pony rides, a huge corn maze, pumkin picking, and my favorite, the pumpkin cannon. The cannon is great. They let you pick your own pumpkin, load it into a gian cannon, then let you aim it towards an old camp trailer. I never hit it, but enjoyed launching pumpkins over the trailer.
You'll also enjoy the views of Smith Rock park from both pumpkin patches. Load up the family and go have some fun, and pick yourselves out some pumpkins while you're there.
